1. Show narrative clearly, sometimes it's hard to understand.
2. Think more about mise en scene.
Comparison between Eminem's 'Without Me' and Justin Timberlake's 'Can't Stop The Feeling':
Both have elements of dance and are both comedy based music videos. Both have shots throughout the video changing from narrative to them singing again.
'Without Me' has some adult content/humour where as 'Can't Stop The Feeling' is aimed at all age groups.
Eminem's music video has a lot going on such as impersonating celebrities, movie characters, talk shows and reality TV shows in a comedic way. Justin Timberlake's music video is mostly different people constantly dancing throughout the music video.

1. Felix Jaehn - Ain't Nobody
Felix Jaehn's 'Ain't Nobody' is in the Pop genre, Felix being the main focus in the video as she is the main artist, lip-syncing throughout the video helps to show that it is in the pop genre. Furthermore the artist is filmed in numerous locations wearing several different but basic clothing, doing simple activities such as riding a bike or skating. The video features four teenagers, Felix and her friend, and two guys, throughout the video different shots are shown of them doing everyday things, by coincidence the two pairs of friends bump into each other and hang out.

d) Production Schedule
e) Location Recces

f) Risk Assessment
g) Legal & Ethical Issues
Certification and scheduling:
The music video we are making features no adult features or themes there’s no swearing and the song also would be appropriate for young audiences. The video would fall into the U classification as we wont have any swearing, nudity or themes that children would want to imitate. These are the BBFC guidelines for the U classification taken from their website:
''Discriminatory language or behaviour is unlikely to be
Acceptable unless clearly disapproved of.''
''References to illegal drugs or drug misuse must
Be infrequent and innocuous, or have a clear
educational purpose or anti-drug message suitable
for young children.''
''Potentially dangerous or anti-social behaviour
which young children may copy must be clearly
disapproved of. No emphasis on realistic or easily
accessible weapons.''
''Infrequent use only of very mild bad language.''
''Occasional nudity, with no sexual context.''
''Only very mild sexual behaviour (for example, kissing)
and references to such behaviour.''
''Scary or potentially unsettling sequences should be
mild, brief and unlikely to cause undue anxiety to
young children. The outcome should be reassuring.''
''Violence will generally be very mild. Mild violence
may be acceptable if it is justified by context (for
example, comedic, animated, wholly unrealistic).''
Scheduling
The video would be shown during the day as its suitable for all audiences and wouldn’t need to be shown after watershed or have a filter on it, this is because we want there to be a bigger chance for people to see the video so the more family friendly we make it the more people are likely to enjoy it and accept it. The video will be on YouTube and will not have an age restriction.

a) Reviewing Footage
a) How we used equipment properly:
Permission Sheets for equipment
Before we began to film, we checked our equipment for any problems that may occur during filming, such as battery life, SD card check if has space and works, camera lens clean, check tripod for any damage, and made sure the legs were locked in and firm so that the camera wouldn't fall during filming. After checking the state of our equipment, we checked if any unwanted objects were in our shots and moved them if there were any. After moving the objects, we checked the camera screen to see how the shot looks through the lens, if it wasn't how we wanted it to look, we simply changed the settings to fit the way we wanted it.
b) Did you follow the script/storyboard?
We didn't follow our script & storyboard because we encountered issues during the production process, such as group members not being able to turn up to filming, some miscommunication between us that caused us problems with our ideas and what we wanted to film as a group. Therefore we couldn't film the footage we wanted and we had to change the narrative.
c) Did you follow safe working practices?
We followed safe working practices by making sure the area we are filming in is clear of any obstructing objects that could potentially hazardous to actors and our group or people around us when filming. We followed the precautions stated on the risk assessments.
d) What was our production process?
When we started filming, none of the footage that we shot turned out the way we thought it would, it didn't fit with the genre of the song. In the location where we most wanted to shoot, and where most of the shots would have hopefully taken place, the owners did not give us permission to film, therefore we had to improvise, we went outside and filmed although the shots turned out very dull and boring which is the complete opposite of the genre of the song. Following our production process, we filmed on the correct dates and used the characters that we wanted to.
e) What genre did you decide on and what genre conventions did you use?
The song itself fits into the Singer Songwriter/Alternative/Urban genre. I edited the video to fit the genre conventions by adding an urban style to it using the colour grading (RGB curves)
