SFX: What worked well? What went wrong?
Knife throw: The comedic aspect worked well because our aim was to make it amusing and it was, sort of. The camera shots were good although we could have replaced the fake knife with a real knife on the close up shot of the knife to make it look more effective and less comical, or more comical depends what the audience finds amusing, it would also make it more convincing. We could also have the shots in better positions because as the knife hits the victim, he moves to a different place in the next shot so it doesn't look as effective.
Skiing: The green screen worked well because you can barely see any folds on it so it looks neat on screen. To improve it we could have used more props to make it more convincing and make the skiers look like they are actually skiing (Skiing poles, gloves, scarfs, coats). I could have also added some special effects such as snow falling or an avalanche and not just make the green screen into a snowy mountain, so it can be improved by working on editing for it a while longer.
